Voyager

Star Trek Voyager follows the exploits of the starship Voyager and her crew.
While attempting to capture a Maquis Ship they enter the "Badlands". Maquis
is a group of renegade colonists against Cardassian control of their space.
The Badlands is a section of space with unstable plazma storms that the
Maquis uses to hide .

During the chase both ships are hit by a displacement wave from a being
called the "Caretaker". This wave brings them to the Delta Quadrant some
70,000 light years away from the Alpha Quadrant. Sadly the Caretaker dies
before he can send them back. Stranded the two crews join together to find
a way home. The road will be long and there will be many obstacles so join
Voyager as they search for a way back to the Alpha Quadrant.

This series evolved into one of the best shows. Comparable to TNG.
It is coming to a close soon. Wonder if they'll make it?
